Section 2.1.1

What is MrBeast Stats?

MrBeast Statistics (@MrBeast_Stats) is an online social media project designed as an entertaining information center for MrBeast fans and statistics enthusiasts. The account was created in August 2020 by former owner Story Avira Time during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic as a project to 'kill the time,' but has since expanded alongside the MrBeast brand and continues to publish his journey of growth as MrBeast advances in the online world.Today, the account is the oldest and largest fan profile dedicated to online statistics. It is followed by thousands of individuals from 6/7 continents (maybe there's some penguins in Antarctica following... you never know) and is utilized by the MrBeast content production team to monitor video performance and channel growth. Even though the account has grown astronomically, we are still committed to the fan experience and giving MrBeast fans a place to view and discuss statistical trends amongst each other while celebrating the path that MrBeast and his historical online accomplishments continue to pave.We thank you for showing interest in this project! Below is a collection of details that outline how our account functions and some information on how we formulate our posts.

Section 2.2.1

Reports

Originally, this account was created to publish a daily update on the growth of all MrBeast channels. While basically everything has grown since then, from the number of channels we track to the numbers included on the reports, our primary focus on this account continues to be the Statistics Report: how much has MrBeast grown in a set period of time?We have a few different reports that are published on our account, each one tracking something different. Below is a list of all the different types of reports and some information about each!

Section 2.2.2

Daily, Monthly, and Yearly Reports

The Daily, Monthly, and Yearly reports are the oldest type of report on our account. These reports are consistent, detailed, and cover a large quantity of channels all at once. Each report features an individual space for a specific channel/account, and includes its current subscribers, time since last API update, subscribers gained, and channel views gained. Other social platforms include followers and media gained. These reports are published on a strict schedule that remains consistent, allowing for constant updates of MrBeast's channel growth right to your Twitter feed. These reports are large, detailed, and complicated, which can be overwhelming for new followers. To solve this issue, we've created a separate page that dives into all of the details about these specific reports, such as the colors, estimation system, and more. We encourage you check out this page if you have any questions about the specific reports.

Click the button below to navigate to the MrBeast Stats Report Page.

Section 2.2.3

24-Hour Video Reports

The 24-hour Video Reports display the performance of a main channel upload after the 24-hour mark. These reports are much more simple, typically contained to a single post. These reports include...

  • 👁️ Video Views: How many views the video has gained after 24 hours of being public.

  • 👍 Video Likes: How many likes the video has after 24 hours of being public.

  • 🗨️ Comments: How many comments the video has after 24 hours of being public.

  • 📈 Views-Per-Hour: The current Views-Per-Hour count displayed on vidIQ. The VPH count does NOT refer to the average Views/Hour over the whole 24 hours, but instead refers to the average Views/Hour over the most recent hour, or the 23rd hour. This means the VPH count will not correlate with the amount of total video views displayed on the report.

These reports are posted ~10 minutes after the 24-hour mark, and not only display the performance of the newest video but also the comparison to the last video's performance as well.As of December 2021, we no longer track dislike counts on the 24-hour video reports. This is due to complications with the sources that provide the information, and concerns about inaccuracy following YouTube's decision to privatize dislike counts. We do not have access to the legitimate YT Studio information at this time.As of now, these reports are strictly for main channel uploads only due to schedule constraints and other complications.

Section 2.2.4

Adding to the Reports

Report additions, while less common nowadays, still can happen. New channels are added to the reports once they meet the required eligibility. The criteria include...

  • The channel must be either verified on YouTube or confirmed to be legitimate by an inside source.

  • The channel must be a MrBeast brand channel. Fan channels do not count.

  • The channel must have uploaded a video or is expected to upload within a reasonable time period.

Additions to the Other Social Media report are much more common, as MrBeast expands his touch on social media across multiple platforms. The criteria for non-YouTube accounts include...

  • The profile must be verified or confirmed to be legitimate by an inside source.

  • The profile must be either owned by MrBeast himself or his team.

  • The profile must have posted or is expected to post within a reasonable time period.

  • The profile needs to be trackable. This means publicly-accessible numbers. The source for these numbers does not necessarily have to be SocialBlade, but it must be reliable and accurate.

If there is an account you are interested in seeing on the reports, please let us know in an E-Mail! If there is enough demand from followers, the profile could be added if it meets the criteria.

Section 2.3.1

Milestones

Another aspect of this account are the milestone notifications. Our account Tweets out about significant channel and account milestones so you can receive a notification or find it easily on your timeline any time a milestone is crossed.

Section 2.3.2

Milestone Tweets

A milestone Tweet on our account is fairly simple. The Tweet includes a set of text and a screenshot of the live subscriber/follower/view count of the milestone. Our milestone Tweets include the channel/profile that hit the milestone, what milestone it is, the time/day of the milestone, and if necessary, the milestone's significance and daily average.A channel's milestone significance depends on its size. Below are the general milestones that will be Tweeted out, however, exceptions are more than likely to apply.

  • Channels under 100K: Milestones will be mentioned in the Daily reports, but will not be Tweeted on their own until 100K.

  • Channels with 100K-1M: Any hundred-thousand milestone will receive its own Tweet.

  • Channels with 1M-10M: Any million milestone will receive its own Tweet.

  • Channels with 10M-100M: Any million milestone will receive its own Tweet.

  • Channels with 100M+: Any million milestone will receive its own Tweet.

The milestone mentions for profiles on other social platforms could vary, however, all significant milestones will be shared!
View milestones also vary, as every channel receives views differently (at different rates.)

Section 2.3.3

Account Crossovers

Sometimes, MrBeast channels pass each other in subscribers. We also like to share these crossovers, as it shows the placement of certain interests within the MrBeast community and which channels are receiving the most attention at a certain time. Channels that frequently switch placements may not receive any more than a mention in the Daily report, however, channels that pass each other only once will likely receive their own Tweet. We also like to include graphs that display the growth of each channel over time. These help form a sense of channel growth in comparison to other channels.

Section 2.3.4

Other Notifications

Our Tweets are not limited to milestones and reports, though! Sometimes, random interesting facts or statistics cross our radar that we publish. We are always scanning our mentions and E-Mail for new and cool things to Tweet out, so if you have any suggestions for Tweet ideas or anything you find interesting, let us know!We also like to answer follower questions! Follower questions will be answered in a Quote Tweet. While not terribly frequent, these are good ways to become involved in the community and share more statistical findings with the community.

Section 2.4.1

Sources and Accuracy

We use many different sources for our information. Our sources are well-respected and reliable. Below, you can find a list of all of our current sources for information...

Not all of our information comes from these sources, however. We also use publicly available information from YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, and TikTok. We also use our own calculations to come up with numbers, and in some super cool scenarios, receive information directly from the MrBeast team.

Section 2.4.2

Accuracy and Interpretation

Providing accurate and understandable information is our top priority. We refrain from using unreliable and untrustworthy sources for information, and check all of our calculations multiple times. We pass our information through multiple people before it gets posted, and channels that are featured on our account must be confirmed by the team themselves.Even with all of this in place, however, mistakes do still happen occasionally. It is important to remember that this is an informal fan account and is in no way a professional branch of the MrBeast organization. With this being said, it is never our intention to misguide followers or promote false information.

If the time of notice is after the window to edit the Tweet, it will be corrected in the following Daily report.Different notices will have different emojis that follow them. Below is an outline of what each represents:

🔧 WrenchA correction has been made to a current or previous post.
⚠️ WarningA certain aspect of a post requires a notice for total understanding.
Other EmojisThese are used for special effect on posts and do not carry significant meaning.

Irrelevant post topics include politics, sports, or global issues that do not concern online statistics.

  • Do Not Self-Promote or Beg for Money or Video Participation. The self-promotion of content that does not directly correlate to the MrBeast brand is not allowed. Begging for money and/or video participation is strictly prohibited by our community and will NOT get you any closer to being in a MrBeast video.
